Backstory
It began at dawn. Fishermen off the Mexican Pacific coast swear they saw it first — a distant shimmer, gliding just above the sea. Some thought it was a drone, others a fallen star. But as it drew closer, the shape took form: a strange metallic device, floating like a capsule of light.
When it finally reached the beach, the people gathered around it in silence. The device opened with a hiss, and from its mist stepped a tall, slender figure clad in a metallic blue and red mask. His presence was neither violent nor peaceful — it was simply inevitable.
He said nothing. He looked to the west, where the sea melted into the sky, and began to walk.
No one knew his name. But, when the local announcer hesitated, a fisherman whispered, “Mira… es el horizonte.” “Look, it’s the Horizon”
From that day forward, he was known as Horizon, the Rudo who came from the edge of the world.
